How to make Rava laddu or Rave unde

Ingredients:
Fine suji 500 gms
Sugar powder 300 to 400 gms
Dessicated coconut - 4 tbsp
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Poppy seeds roasted - 2 tbsp
Ghee 4 tbsp
Cashew nuts and raisins
Hot boiling water as required
Method:
In a kadai, heat ghee and roast the nuts and raisins, keep aside draining ghee.
In the same kadai, with the remaining ghee, roast the rava until aromatic And changes Color in a low Flame for 15-20 mins.
Then roast the dry coconut grating or dessicated coconut for Few mins
In a large bowl, add the roasted rawa, coconut, poppy seeds, sugar powder, cardamom powder, nuts and raisins and mix well.
Take the mixture little by little and add hot boiling water and mix well, and then bringing the mixture together make a small ball and make the laddu pressing tightly with your hands. See that you don't add too much water. Make the laddu as per your requirements, either soft or hard.
Repeat until done. Cool and store in air tight container.
Option: instead of water add hot milk for more tastier laddus
