Simple cabbage subzi Kerala style

Cabbage thoran recipe

Ingredients:

Shredded cabbage 2 cups

1 tsp coconut oil

Mustard 1/4 tsp

red and green chilli 3 each, slit

jeera 1/4 tsp

curry leaves few

hing a pinch

turmeric 1/4 tsp

Salt to taste

Coconut grating 3 tbsp


Method:

Steam the cabbage and cook until done. 

In a kadai, heat oil and all the ingredients except coconut and once it splutters, add cabbage and coconut and mix well. 

Check salt and add if needed, then switch off and add few chopped coriander leaves (optional) and serve with meals that is rice and any gravy.
