Ingredients for Balekai Fry:
Raw Bananas - 2 nos. (thinly sliced, and dip it in salt water until u start cooking)
Oil - 1 or 2 tbsp (as needed)
Mustard - 1 tsp
Hing - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Salt - according to taste
Chilli powder - according to taste.
Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
Method:
Heat a shallow pan and add the oil and seasonings and then add the raw banana slices and fry it in low flame covered with a lid. Keep stirring it once in a while. Once it is half cooked add the salt, chill powder and turmeric powder. Cover the lid again and cook until done.
