This is a very easy to make recipe and gets done in just 10 minutes and children will love this as it is not too spicy.
Ingredients:
4 nos. Ripe tomatoes (Big) - finely cut
1 no. Onion (big) - finely cut
1 tbsp Coriander leaves - finely cut
Sambar powder - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
For seasoning:
Oil - 2 tbsp
5 pods of Garlic - crushed
1 tsp - mustard seeds
Curry leaves - a few
Dry red chillies - 2/3 nos.
Method:
Heat a kadai, and add the oil. Add the mustard seeds and allow it to splutter. Then add, curry leaves, dry red chillies and crushed garlic and fry for few seconds. Add onion and fry till light brown and add the tomatoes and cook it until the oil separates. Add coriander leaves, sambar powder and salt to taste. Cook for 5 -6 minutes in low flame and keep stirring until the oil separates.
Goes well with Rotis/Chapathis, Dosa or Hot rice with ghee.
