Chinese Veg curry

Chinese veg curry recipe, easy to make and delicious to eat with your plain steamed rice or veg fried rice


Ingredients:

Mixed capsicum - 1/2 each chopped into cubes 

Carrot - 1/2 cup cubed 

Brocolli - 1 cup florets blanched

Cabbage - 1/2 cup chopped roughly 

Paneer - 1 cup cubed 

Onion - 1 chopped and spring onion greens chopped 2 tbsp 

Ginger garlic - mince 1 tbsp Pepper powder - 1 TSP or as per taste 

Salt to taste 

Sauces - tomato, soya, chilli sauce 2 tbsp each 

Corn flour slurry made with 1 tbsp flour and little water 

Water as required for consistency

Oil - 2 tbsp

Ajinomoto (optional) 1 pinch 


Method

Firstly in a large pan heat oil and add the ginger garlic, onion, pepper and saute.

Then add the cabbage, carrots and saute well and then add the colour capcicums and saute...don't over cook the veggies, it has to be crisp. Then add salt and pepper and paneer and fry well for couple minutes. Now add the sauces and corn flour slurry spring onion and Ajinomoto...water if required...cook for another 2/3 minutes.


The Chinese veg gravy is ready to serve with hot rice.
