How to make mango curry

Mango curry

Very tasty and easy to make mango curry, Kerala style. 


Ingredients

4 small sweet and sour ripened mangoes (raspuri, sindhura Or sakkarai kutti) - just mashed and squeezed along with sweets after peeling skin. 

Curd 1 cup
Coconut grating 1/2 cup
Green chilli 2
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Coconut oil 2 tsp
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Methi seeds 1/2 tsp
Red chilli 2
Curry leaves few
Chilli powder as per taste
Pepper powder 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Hing a pinch
Salt to taste
Water

Method:
In a pan add the squeezed mangoes with seed and half cup water, salt, turmeric, pepper powder and chilli powder.. Bring them to a boil and cook for 5 mins in medium flame. 
While this is boiling, make a paste of coconut, cumin, green chilli with curd. Switch off the flame and mix this paste nicely and adjust consistency by adding water. 
Season by heating coconut oil, mustard, methi, red chilli, hing and curry leaves... Add this to the curry and enjoy with roti or hot rice.
