Easy recipe of Crab Masala

Very tasty and family favorite Crab Masala fry

Crab masala

Ingredients:

Crab -1 kg /4-5(cleaned and halved) 

Onion - chopped roughly

Curry leaves few

Oil - 4 tbsp

Green chilli 4/5 slit

Salt to taste


Ingredients to grind:

Onion - 1 big

Ginger/garlic paste 2 tbsp 

Coriander leaves 2 tbsp

Cinnamon and cloves 4/5 each

Chilli powder 1 tsp or according to spiciness required

Turmeric powder 1 tsp

Coriander powder 1 tbsp

Cumin powder 1/4 tsp

Pepper corn 2tsp


Method:

Wash the crabs and keep aside. 

Take a wide pan and heat oil, add onion, curry leaves and chillies, fry for 2 mins and then add ground masala and salt, fry well until oil separates. Now add crabs fry for few mins and then add water to immerse the crabs and cook on High flame for 20 mins, with lid. And then simmer for another 20 mins on medium to low flame. Check the consistency you need for the masala and add water and simmer for couple more mins. 


Crab masala is ready to relish with hot rice or rotis
