How to make Chocolate Pudding or Chocolate Mousse at home


Eggless Chocolate pudding / Chocolate Mousse Recipe

Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients:

1/4 cup - cornflour

1/4 cup - cocoa powder

2 cups - milk

1/2 or 3/4 cup - sugar

1 cup - cream

1 cup - dark chocolate grated (or broken into small chunks)

1 tsp - Vanilla extract

a pinch of salt

grated white/milk chocolate for garnishing


Method:

In a bowl, mix the cornflour and cocoa powder well. To this add the milk and whisk nicely until no lumps are there.

Pour this mixture into a deep/thick bottom pan and keep it on the stove and keep stirring on low-medium flame until it combines well. add sugar to this mixture and stir until sugar melts. now add the cream and stir nicely for a couple of minutes. Now add the dark chocolate and keep stirring until the mixture combines and becomes a little thick (pourable consistency) and turns glossy/shiny. switch off the stove, add vanilla extract and salt - mix well.

Now pour the mixture in desired bowls/cups or ramekins and refrigerate for 4/5 hours and then decorate with grated chocolate and they are ready to serve.
