Pazham pori is a Kerala sweet served as snacks with Tea.
It's made with Kerala banana... Nenthara vazhapalam.
It's sweet banana fritters made from the ripe bananas of this variety.
It's a delicacy which must be enjoyed by every one.
Ingredients:
Big ripe bananas 2 nos.
Maida 1/2 cup
2 tbsp of gram flour
Pinch salt
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Sugar powdered 2 tbsp
Baking Soda 1/4 tsp
Black sesame seeds (0ptional)
Water to make batter of the above ingredients
Oil to deep fry
Method:
Mix all the Ingredients and make it thick like dosa batter.
Cut the banana into half and cut each half into 4 slices.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and dip the slices in batter to coat nicely and deep fry them in medium flame until golden brown. Fry just like pakodas but not that long. Fry only 2-3 at a time and drain the excess oil and serve with tea.
