 How to make Chicken Lolly Pop / Drums of Heaven

Quick and East to prepare Chicken Starters

Yummy Chicken Lollypop recipe / Drums of Heaven Recipe

Ingredients for marination:

Chicken lollypop pieces - 10/12 (washed and cleaned)

Chilli powder - 1 tsp

Ginger garlic paste = 1 tbsp each

Cumin powder - 1 tsp

pepper powder - 1/2 tsp

Corn flour - 2 tbsp

Rice flour - 1 tbsp

salt to taste

Curd - 2 tbsp

turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

Ingredients for the sauce:

ginger/garlic - finely chopped - 2 tsp

green chillies - finely chopped - 2 (optional)

red chilli sauce 1 tsp

soy sauce 1 tbsp

Vinegar - 1 tsp

Corn flour slurry - 4 tbsp (1 tbsp cornflour mixed in 3 tbsp water)

Water 2/3 tbsp if required to maintain the consistency of your choice - dry/semi-dry


Other ingredients:

Oil for Deep frying + 1 tbsp oil for sauce

spring onion - finely chopped for garnishing

Method:

Mix chicken and all the ingredients for marination well and Marinate the chicken for 1 or 2 hours in the refrigerator

Deep fry the chicken pieces in hot oil on medium flame until crisp and cooked well.

Take a wok/wide pan - heat and add oil and adding ingredients for sauce one by one with a quick stir and add the cornflour slurry with fried chicken and simmer for few minutes (2/3). Serve garnished with spring onions.
