Fruit Smoothies

By using your juicer in combination with a good blender, like those made by Philips, you can jazz up fresh fruits and expand your options further. Add soft fruits such as bananas or berries to your juice and blend for a delicious fresh fruit smoothie.
Alternatively for a creamier treat, blend with milk, cream, ice cream or yoghurt. Children love the taste, and these dairy products are a great source of calcium. If you don't like cow's milk, you can try soya milk or even coconut milk, which adds an exotic tropical flavor to any fruit combination. 
A spoonful of honey adds sweetness. And whether you've made a fruit juice or a smoothie, you can freeze any leftovers into popsicles for the children.
