White vinegar - 1 tbsp
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tbsp
Dry Ing:
Maida - 200 gms
Cocoa powder - 3 tbsp
Baking powder - 1/8 tsp

Sugar - 175 gms
Choco chips - 2 tbsp (optional)
Method:
Take a wide mixing bowl and add the wet ingredients. To this add sugar and mix well until it dissolves completely. Sieve well Maida, Cocoa, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Salt. Then slowly add the sifted mixture to the wet ingredients mixture slowly without forming lumps and make a smooth flowing batter. Add choco chips if you are using. Otherwise you may have to use 200 gms sugar in your cake.
Grease a cake mould with butter. Preheat the microwave oven in convection mode @ 180 deg C for 10 mins and place the cake tin and bake it for 10 minutes in convection mode itself and then bake for another 5 mins in microwave mode. This will make the cake soft and cooks well too.
Insert a fork/tooth pick in the middle of the cake and if it comes out clean you can take the cake tin out and allow it to cool for 10-15 minutes before you cut them into slices.
While serving you can pour some hot chocolate sauce and serve. This cake tastes best when it is warm.
